Thanks, Juliette. I hope that I will be able to post some photos and her story soon. You are extremely lucky if you haven’t had to sell a horse. Unfortunately, I’ve had to make that decision many times over the years and it never gets any easier. The worst part about having animals is when you have to part with them, regardless of the reason. I hope your luck continues to hold and you are spared that sadness.

I can’t wait to hear the stories and see the pictures about “Strawmaid”. That is a great story that your sister got her horse back. I have never sold a horse, but I am certain it must be heart-wrenching.

Paint Girl, I’m so happy for you that you got a job as well! Not only a job, but a fantastic one! Yes, this is a scary environment to be unemployed in especially when you are responsible for animals (or kids).
I will pass along your congrats to my sis! I’m sure she’ll be appreciative. She is very excited about her old girl returning home….and there is a little bit more of a surprise, but I’ll share that in a later post! It is very exciting news! I can’t believe you used to show Apps! Breed shows? I wonder if we ever crossed paths at any point? Small world……

I am now thankful that I have a job after 4 months of unemployment! It was a nightmare trying to find a job. There was nothing out there, and when I did send my resume out, no calls back. So many people competing for one job. Very scary!
Congrats to your sis for getting her horse back! That is very exciting and can’t wait to see pictures. I have heard of Char-a-Lot Ranch. My sister has sent me links to them! She is a big Appy girl, which is so funny because when I was young, I was the Appy girl and showed them. My sis was into QH’s! Funny how things change!

It is exciting, Jenn! I know you remember her, you were with us when we picked her up! Wayyyyy back in 1989. Hard to believe, almost a lifetime ago.
