Very nice stories. My best dog ever was a black lab who I lost to cancer at age 10 about 8 years ago. I love those dogs.
There are way too many things in my life to list that I am thankful for, so I’ll just take a moment to reflect on them in my own head. Thanks for a nice post.

I’m glad you enjoyed, Arlene! Isn’t it funny, how in this day of digital photos an old 35 mm shot just has such a history behind it. Part of the fun of doing that post was digging through my old photo albums to find photos that I liked. It was a most fitting nostalgic moment.

Yes, he certainly was a gift, Simrat. I would never want to “replace” him, but I do hope that I can someday have that same kind of bond with another dog. He was one in a million.
