Kim, that's so funny! Is it bad to admit that a small part of me is glad I'm not alone?! Grady has been known to eat an inedible object (or ten) in his life, including but not limited to: VHS tapes (ah, who needs 'em anyway!), trash cans (what is it with these dogs and trash cans?), several billion dog beds (although these are generally used to make snow - or mulch - in the living room and not actually eaten), books, shoes, and his favorite - pens. No major furniture though. He still doesn't top my old black lab - he consumed (ATE every last bit of) an entire leather couch down to the springs, ate a hole in the drywall of our house, AND savored the wiring and insulation from underneath my parents' RV - WHILE IT WAS PLUGGED IN!!! I'm pretty sure that dog used up every last one of his nine lives! So G-man isn't all that bad in the grand scheme of things, I guess! ;)

Oh, Grady Grady, Grady. What won't you eat? My Annabelle (also a Mastiff) had indiscriminate eating disorder also, and was fond of sneaking tastes of things like sofa cushions, remote controls and even the trash CAN.
Can Grady be blamed for eating actual FOOD?
Poor boy.

Oh, Paint Girl ~ I feel sorry for you!! I'll take trash over dead animal bones any day! My old dog used to do that, and roll in stinky stuff. Argh... that's just nasty.=(
Juliette, I know I loved that photo too! And even though it LOOKS like he was looking straight at us as we approached, he had NO idea. He does that sometimes, it's really weird...It's like he's looking right through you and doesn't see you. He jumped a mile when I yelled at him!
It's true that he lives in the moment, Jenn. When you spend time with a creature so simple, it keeps you from taking life too seriously! That's what I love about him so much.
Arlene, Yes I think he was having the time of his life (or at least the time of that day!). And you're right, he just turns those sad eyes on me and I can't stay mad. That's why he's spoiled rotten!! I'm just lucky that he USUALLY doesn't take too much advantage of his cuteness.

I am still laughing at your expense. Seriously though, how can you be mad at Grady. Judging from your pictures, he was having the time of life. :) Great poat, Michelle.

That picture of Tiny catching SD in action is hilarious! I can't believe he didn't even hear your approach! What a silly dog! I know, it is easy to get mad at them when they do bad things, but then a few minutes later they are being so good and sweet and you just forget the whole thing. They live in the moment, and so should we I guess! :) Love the pictures!

Oh that naughty cute Grady!!! He is so funny. I don't know how you could ever get mad at him because he is the cutest looking dog I have ever seen in my life. I love the photo of Tiny's ears with Grady's "I'm innocent" look right between her ears.
