Juliette – It’s too bad we didn’t know each other back in those days, it sounds like we would have had a ton of fun together! I’m really hoping you and your crew can make it out of the cold and snowy north to visit for the holidays!

Lisa – Yuck! -12? I’m way WAY too much of a sissy for that sort of weather! I’d dare not venture out the door in that! Hope you thaw out soon.

GHM – I had no idea you come to Orlando regularly! Next time you visit, we’ll have to get together. I can show you some of the amazing and beautiful things this area has to offer! Hope you and yours have a great holiday as well.

Hazem – I agree that the West Coast is beautiful, but us horse-poor girls need to keep cost of living in the big picture! Florida still gets my vote! =)

Jenn – You are so right, the place you live SHOULD feel like home. I am going to miss you so much, but I’m glad that you have your own special place you’ll be moving to soon. I can’t wait to read all your “happy Vermont” posts on The Leftover Queen in the near future!

Paint Girl – I think the grass is always greener…I was pretty jealous when it was sweltering here and you guys were getting gorgeous summer days! I could do without the mud fever though. Eww!

Hi Michelle,
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to Orlando but it’s a lot. We have family and friends there and of course we always wound up at Disney, either with our kids when they were small or now the grandchildren. Believe it or not I was even there before Disney was built. I can honestly say that I never knew all the great spots to visit but I’m glad you pointed them out to me. Next time I’m in Fl. I may just take a day or two to explore them. Thanks for the info. Have a great holiday.

Michelle – Thanks for sharing your lovely parks and horse-friendly life with us!!! I loved living my college years in Tampa. I lived near another funny named park – Lettuce Lake Park. It had canoeing and wildlife and miles of trails too. I brought my family to enjoy it years later. My college days were so full of dogs – I had a Lab, Jet, and all my friends had dogs. Florida was so dog-friendly. Your ironically named dog park (Peeples) sounds idyllic. Grady is a lucky boy! And your farmer’s market!!! Wow! Florida people are so healthy because you have good produce year round. Our produce here in the winter looks ok, but it doesn’t have any nutrients because it was grown to be shipped around – not to be nutritious. Not only are you very lucky in your locale, but you know it!! Hooray for someone who understands how fortunate they are. So many people miss the beauty right in front of them! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing your part of the country with us! I would love to move there, much better weather than what I get here! I keep saying I need to move, but probably never will, all my family is here.
Love the parks, but could do without the snakes and gators!

florida is nice but california is much nicer, the west coast definitely has its magic.
